Junior Key age 96 of Guin, AL passed away Sunday, February 16, 2020 at his residence.
Born February 12, 1924 in Hamilton, AL, he is the Son of the late Clyde Young and the late Hattie Key.He was a Veteran of World War II having served in the US Army and was a member of the Mt. Zion Methodist Church in Bexar, AL. He had lived in Chicago, IL where he worked for the Postal Service until he retired in 1981 and moved back to Guin, AL.
He is survived by his Wife, Lillie Key of Guin, AL, Son, Charles Key of Huntsville, AL, Step Daughter Yvette Montgomery of Florence, AL, Step Son, Scott Johnson of Tuscaloosa, AL, and 2 Step Grandchildren, Adonis Montgomery and Alice Montgomery.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 Sisters, Mary Key, Johnny Key and Edna Key, and 3 Brothers, Talmage Key, Will Key, and Calvin Key.
Services held Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 1:00 PM from the Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Burial in the West Alabama Memorial Gardens with Military Honors at the graveside. Bro. Verbe Swanigan officiating.
