Junior G. Jackson, 65, died Sunday, June 14, 2015, at UAB, Birmingham, Alabama. He was born in Alabama and was a factory worker.
Services will be Thursday, June 18, at 3 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, Alabama, with Brother J.C. Blackburn officiating. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Vina, Alabama. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Alabama, will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are his wife of 46 years, Judy Jackson, Red Bay, Alabama, three children, Jennifer Jeanette Ables and Joanna Jo Childers (Lance), all of Red Bay, Alabama, and Jana Jae Heatherly (Billy), of Florida; four grandchildren, Tisha Leonia Ables, Damian Boyd Heatherly, Ryan Anthony Heatherly and Christabella Alexandria Childers; his mother, Clarice Jackson; three brothers, James Jackson, Donnie Jackson and Darrell Jackson; and one sister, Sharon Wildmon.
He was preceded in death by his father, Veloise Jackson.
Pallbearers will be Damian Heatherly, Skylar Reid, Clayton Jackson, O’Neal Jackson, Derek Jackson, Earl Jackson and Marty Vanderford.
Visitation will be today, 6-9 p.m., at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Alabama, and 8 a.m. until service time on Thursday.
