Mrs. Lyle, who passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2013, at her residence, was born March 13, 1931, in Decatur to Bennett Prentice Roberts and Dolly Beatrice King Roberts. She was a homemaker. She was an avid reader and loved to sew and cross-stitch. She enjoyed watching Braves baseball with daddy and was very proud of her bus tours with daddy. Together they saw the entire country and part of Canada. She was a lifelong member of Austinville Methodist Church and oh how she loved her food!

We appreciate AlaCare and ResCare, but most especially our love and thanks to Judy Green, her caregiver, who made her final year very special.

Mrs. Lyle was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Boyce Esmond Lyle; and son-in-law, William Thomas Hughes.

She is survived by her son, Boyce Randall Lyle (Cindy) of Hartselle; daughters, Vicky Lynn Manley (Roger) of Decatur, Johnnie Ruth Hughes, Rhonda Lyle Crow (Larry) and Stacey Lyle Nash (Craig), all of Hartselle; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be grandsons.
