June Marie Black, age 70 of Arab, died Thursday – April 14, 2016 at her residence.
Mrs. Black was born on April 20, 1945 in Akron Ohio, to Wesley Leonard Maxwell & Lillian Marie Justice Maxwell. She was a homemaker and had lived in the New Canaan Community since 1978. Her husband Hershel Howard Black preceded her in death on December 10, 2010.
She is survived by four sons: Hershel Black Jr. (Bonnie), Robert Stickles, James Black (Pam) and Lee Black; two daughters Ruth Lett (Daniel Martens) and Debbie Wilson; ten grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; one brother Alton Black and one sister: Vinnie Stufflebeam. She was preceded in death by her husband Hershel Howard Black and her parents: Wesley Leonard Maxwell & Lillian Marie Justice.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday – April 18, 2016 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Oleander Cemetery, Marshall County Alabama.
Pallbearers will be Mason Smith, Brandon Grandstaff, Blake Mears, Phillip Black, Jon McKelvey and Derrick Harris.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Sunday – April 17, 2016 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
