Julus Wayne (Vic) Vickers Sr., 88 of Rogersville, Alabama, died Sunday, October 17, 2021 at his residence.
There will a 1pm Chapel Service on Wednesday at Spry Funeral Home in Athens with Don Neal officiating burial in Gatlin Cemetery.
Visitation is 12noon until service on Wednesday.
Pallbearers will be Mike Brock, Dale Brock, Darryl Brock, Jeff Hodges, Berry Cook and Dale Lewter.
Mr. Wickers was born August 17, 1933 in Alabama, he was a member and former minister of First United Methodist Church in Rogersville, Alabama. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, member of the Masonic Lodge and he was a Shiner.
Survivors: Son: Wayne Vickers of Rogersville; Granddaughter: Mallory Martin of Cullman’ Grandson: Michael Wayne Vickers of Cullman; Three Great Grandchildren; Sister: Clarice Faye Brock of Elkmont.
