Funeral Ceremony will be 12:00 noon, Friday, May 17, 2024 at Oakwood University S.D.A. Church (5500 Adventist Blvd NW, Huntsville, AL 35896) with the Reverend Dr. Don Darius Butler officiating and the Reverend Dr. Walter Malone as eulogist. Interment will be in Scruggs Seay Cemetery. Reverend Dr. Scruggs will lie in repose two hours prior to funeral time.
Public viewing will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Thursday, May 16, 2024 and from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m., Friday, May 17, 2024, at Royal Funeral Home.
Dr. Scruggs will lie in repose at First Missionary Baptist Church (3509 Blue Spring Rd NW, Huntsville, AL 35810) from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 16, 2024.The Scruggs family will receive guests at FMBC from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 16, 2024.
