Julius Louie Boyett Julius Louie Boyett, age 78 of Hamilton, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at NMMC- Tupelo MS. Louie was born in Marion County, Alabama on Monday, March 25, 1946, to Hugh L. Boyett and Margie Hughes Boyett.

Louie was a simple man who lived a simple but fulfilling life. He served 27 plus years with the Alabama National Guard. He enjoyed sharing all the memories made over the years with everyone.

He was a great outdoorsman who passionately devoted a lot of his time to gardening, fishing, and hunting. All of these things he preferred to do in the company of family and friends. He was a kind man who loved his family dearly and was all that a good man should be and strive to become.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife JoAnn Tidwell Boyett; grandchildren, Austin Boyett (wife, Hannah), Noah Boyett, Gracie Ezekiel (husband, Mason), Ella Boyett; great-grandchildren, Carter Boyett, Emerson Boyett; daughter-in-law, Heather Boyett; sisters, Marylon Emerson, Denna Hankins (husband, Hank) a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Hugh L. and Margie Boyett; son, Bruce Boyett; brother-in-law, Willard Emerson.

The visitation will be from 12- 2 p.m. Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Marion County Funeral Home. The service will follow at 2 pm in the chapel with Bro. Danny Duncan officiating. The interment will be at Barnesville Cemetery.

Marion County Funeral Home will assist the family.
