Julius Clay “J.C.” Holley, Jr., 80, passed away Saturday, November 4, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born August 7, 1943, to Julius and Lottie Harper Holley. He was a member of Gaston Baptist Church, and a farmer and truck driver after retiring from farming. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, traveling out west, watching westerns, reading and riding around looking at the country side.
A Celebration of Life will be at 4:00 P.M. Monday, November 6, 2023, at McMillan Funeral Home with Joel Tittle, Angela Trimble and Bro. Shane Evetts officiating. Burial will be in Booneville Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
He is survived by one son, Marty Holley; three daughters, Angela Trimble and her husband, Keith, Tracy Tittle and her husband, Joel and Hannah Hughes; one sister, Reba Kathryn Davis and her husband, Eddie; seven grandchildren, Taylor Trimble, Holley Marie Trimble, Anna Carol Curtiss and her husband, Drew, Clay Holley, Montgomery Tittle, Samuel Thomas Hughes and Caroline Elyse Hughes; one great grandchild, Kai Andrew Curtiss; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Carolyn Martin Holley; and his parents.
Pallbearers are Taylor Trimble, Clay Holley, Samuel Thomas Hughes, Sam Hughes, Jonathan Davis, Drew Curtiss, Keith Trimble and Joel Tittle.
