Funeral services for Julie Slack, 65, of Benton, Kentucky are set for 2 pm on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at Magnolia Funeral Home – EAST with interment in New Lebanon Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 13, 2023 from 12pm-2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home – EAST. Bro. Bobby Johnson will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Tyler Slack, Bruce Prince, Conor Baker, Chris Anglin, Randy Maness and Elton Maness. Born December 1, 1958 in Memphis, TN; Julie passed away on December 8, 2023 at Anna Mae Own Hospice House in Murray, Kentucky. She was a member of New Lebanon Freewill Baptist Church in Cario, MS and a homemaker. She loved her family and friends and enjoyed riding and taking care of horses and listening to music. Her most precious memories were the time she got to spend with her granddaughters. Julie is survived by her husband of 46 years, Kenny Slack; son, Tyler Slack and wife Kaytelyn; daughter, Tricia Baker and husband Conor; 4 granddaughters, Addison Baker, Charlotte Baker, Harper Baker and Mina Slack; brother, Joel Prince and wife Margie; sister, Jennifer Brewer and husband Matthew; nephews, Bruce Prince (David) and Jordan Prince (Evi); other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her father, John “J. T.” Prince and mother, Marilyn Joann Prince. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mrs. Julie Slack.
