A Graveside Funeral service and Interment for Julian Henry Taylor, 88, will be Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 1:30 PM at Johnson Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Joel Snyder officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Saturday, March 9, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.

Mr. Taylor died on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born December 26, 1935, in Morgan County to William Henry Taylor and Eva Irene Mayfield Taylor.

Mr. Taylor was a graduate of Danville High School and was employed by Monsanto and Solutia for his full career until retirement. He was a life-long farmer and gardener and was a handy carpenter with skills he learned from his father. Upon retirement he enjoyed camping and traveling in his RV and visiting with family and friends. He especially enjoyed time at Lake Guntersville and spending time with his friends there.He was a member of Unity Baptist Church and served as a deacon for many years. He loved his church and his church family and was eager and faithful to attend as often as he could.

Preceding him in death were his wife, Linda Taylor, his parents and a brother, Charles Taylor.

Dwight Taylor (Pam)

Sister – Janice Hargett

Four Grandchildren

One Great Grandchild

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Owens, Curtis Sanders, Cody Taylor, Joey Logan, William Logan and Michael Hendrix.
