A celebration of life will be held Thursday, October 6, 2022 at Collier-Butler Funeral Chapel at 11:00 a.m. (CST), for Judy Stone Laverty, age 79, of Dallas, GA who passed away Sunday, October 2, 2022.
Ms. Laverty was an avid Alabama Football Fan. She enjoyed bowling and time spent at the beach. She was a graduate of Etowah High School.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Henry Clay Stone and Wilma Branham Stone and her brother, William Bryan Stone.
Left to cherish her memory is her sister, Memory Marcelle Bearden; 2 sons, Stephen Todd (Vicki) Laverty and Thomas “Tom” (Beth) Laverty; 4 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a host of cousins and a large number of friends she counted as family.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America. www.alzfdn.org
The family will receive friends from 10 am (CST) until the hour of service at the funeral home.
