Judy Shields Compton, 79, Huntsville, AL passed away Saturday, September 10, 2022, at AHC Millennium Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born October 26, 1942, in Eden, NC to the late German Lloyd Shields and Ella Boyd Shields.
Judy was a graduate of Drewry Mason High School and attended Ferrum College. Besides being a devoted wife, mother, and daughter, she was also an active member of the Drewry Mason and Magna Vista High School Athletic Boosters (1987 to 1992). Judy retired from Cracker Barrel Retail and Training in 2016.
She is survived by her daughter, Lynne Anne Compton Simons, and son-in-law, Brent Simons and two step-grandchildren of Huntsville, AL.
A private burial will be at Mountain View Cemetery, Ridgeway, VA in October 2023.
