Judy Reeves, 74, of Empire, Alabama, passed away Saturday, June 10, 2023.
Judy was a member of New Canaan Baptist Church. Judy was a strong-willed woman, and she loved deeply, especially when it came to her grandchildren and her sisters-in-law. Judy loved to do arts and crafts, as well as visiting the beach at Gulf Shores.
Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Garvin and Edna Defore; siblings, Horace Defore (Susan), Julia Williams and Gary Defore, and brother-in-law, Thomas Mayberry.
Left to cherish Judy’s memory are her husband, Roger Reeves; children Eddy Cordell (Luza Alturo), Lonna Mann (Thomas) and Tracy Smith; grandchildren, Corey Cordell, Trey White (JoAnna), Andreana Mann, Tommy Mann and James Mann; sister, Helen “Sally” Mayberry; as well as a host of friends and family.
A graveside service will be held at New Horizon Memorial Gardens on Saturday, June 17, 2023, beginning at 10:00am.
