Mrs. Judy Parrish Tipton of Hazel Green, Alabama, went to be with the Lord on Saturday. She was 77.
Julia was Born in Florence, Alabama, to the late Mildred and Arnold Parrish. She was lovingly nick-named Judy by her mother. She was a loving daughter, wife, and mother of veterans. Mrs. Tipton enjoyed reading, drawing, and painting. She will be remembered for her love for Jesus, her family, and her country.
She was preceded in death by her parents of Florence, Alabama; her husband, Jack Tipton; her sisters, Winona (Billy) Spires and Arnelle (Earl) Green of Florence, Alabama; her in-laws, Birdie and Marvin Tipton; her brother-in-laws Ernie Smith of Decatur, Alabama, and Ron (Margie) Talley of Huntsville, Alabama.
She is survived by children, Jonathan, Julie, and Jason; her grandchildren, Jake and Abbey; her sister-in laws, Pat Smith of Decatur, Alabama, Tricia (Mike) Tipton of Madison, Alabama. She is also Survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family has planned a private celebration of life service. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in Ragsdale Cemetery.
