Judy McLaurine, 77, of Hampton Cove, passed away peacefully in her sleep Saturday. Born in Chicago, IL, Mrs. McLaurine graduated high school in Jacksonville, FL. She attended Florida State University and was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority. Judy was a flight attendant for Delta Airlines when she met Fred, and in 1961, they married and moved to Huntsville. She loved to travel, enjoyed reading, and was involved in various community clubs and associations. Later in life, she started a second career as a real estate agent. She was an active member of First United Methodist Church for 53 years.
Survivors include her husband of over 55 years, Fred McLaurine; daughters, Mary Nell McLaurine and Melissa Frager (David); son, John McLaurine; granddaughters, Courtney Frager and Erica Frager; and sister, Carol Lewis (Butch).
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 3 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 4 at First United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
