Judy Mason, 77 of Athens, passed away on Tuesday, February 22nd, 2022, at her residence. Mrs. Mason was born on December 1st, 1944, to Bearl Ollie Boatright and Alice Hazel Tucker Boatright.
Mrs. Mason is survived by her husband of 29 years, Jimmy Mason; children Julie Frye (Mark) of Minneola, FL, Jeffrey Lovell of Birmingham, AL, and Jennifer Rude (Brian) of Starkville, MS; grandchildren Michelle Caldwell (Tim) of Wesley Chapel, FL, Andrew Frye (Jasha) of Orlando, FL, Matthew Frye of Minneola, FL, Danielle Sims of Birmingham, AL, Cheyenne Burchett of Fairview, OK, Sydney Lovell of Birmingham, AL, and Ashley Baker of Starkville, MS; great-grandchildren Alyssa Caldwell, Tyler Caldwell, and Wyatt Caldwell; and sisters Dean Gentry (Edward) of Columbiana, AL, and Gayle Chambers of Southside, AL.
Preceded in death by her parents; brother Jackie Wayne Boatright; and sister Alice Smith.
The family of Mrs. Mason will hold a Celebration of Life on Saturday, March 5th, 2022, at 1:00pm at Mt. Zion Baptist Youth Room, in Cullman, AL, with Greg Brown officiating.
Mrs. Mason was an avid walker. She enjoyed reading, and was a gifted Bible teacher. She loved to study her Bible, and she was devoted to her family.
