Judy Lane Townsend, 79 of Appleton, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, July 31st, 2023, at Ivy Crest. Mrs. Townsend was born on March 27th, 1944, in Appleton, Tennessee, to Buren and Rubye Rosson Harrison.
Mrs. Townsend is survived by her sisters Linda Boyd, of Appleton, TN, Frances Ridgway, of Madison, TN, and Joyce Chandler, of Lawrenceburg, TN; special niece and nephew Randy and Trish Townsend; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Thomas Townsend; parents Buren and Rubye Rosson Harrison; and brother Larry Harrison.
A graveside service for Mrs. Townsend will be Wednesday, August 2nd, 2023, at 11:00am at Hester’s Chapel Cemetery, with Jimmy Williams and Richard Durham officiating.
Mrs. Townsend was a faithful member of Appleton Church of Christ. She had worked at Murray Ohio and sewing factories.
