Funeral service for Judy Kaye Simmons Wallace, age 61, of Decatur, will be Friday, December 28, 2012, 2:00 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Anthony Simmons officiating. The family will receive friends for two hours prior to service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Decatur City Cemetery.
Ms. Wallace, who died Sunday, December 23, 2012, at her residence, was born January 24, 1951, in AL, to Garland Simmons and Ramona Victory Simmons. She was a mental health supervisor for the State of Alabama.
She is survived by one son, Thomas Michael Wallace, II, of Oak Harbor, WA; two daughters, Ramona Kathryn Barton of Toney, and Heather Leigh Wallace of Decatur; three brothers, Garland Simmons, Jr. of FL, James Simmons of Decatur, and Alan Simmons of Danville; one sister, Annette Ponds of Nashville, TN; eight grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
