Judy Katherine Reaves Watson, 65, of Muscle Shoals, died Nov. 16, 2013. Her visitation will be on Tuesday, Nov. 19, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., at Colbert Memorial Chapel in Tuscumbia.
The funeral service will follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens. Brother Jim Warren is officiating.
God Knew that she was suffering,
He knew that she was in pain.
He knew that she would never get well on the earth again.
That never stopped her from smiling,
Or from having any regrets.
For even during her long and tough journey
she made memories that no one will ever forget.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Johnny Watson; daughter, Stacey Hovater; son, Thomas Jeremy Watson (Tina); grandchildren, Drew Hovater, Cody Hovater, Cloe Hovater, Michael Hovater, Isaiah Watson and Kailyn Watson; sister, Martha Sue Bishop; mother, Frances West Reaves.
Mrs. Watson was preceded in death by her father, Charles Thomas Reaves.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jerry Watson, Hillard South, Frank Watson, Drew Hovater, Cody Hovater and Brandon Hovater.
Colbert Memorial Chapel, Tuscumbia, is directing.
