A graveside service for Judy F Marlar, 78, will be held on Tuesday May 14, 2024 at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens in Powell, TN. A visitation will begin at the graveside at 10:00 am.
Judy passed away at her residence in Walnut, MS on May 5, 2024. She was born on November 18, 1945 in Blountville, TN to the late Cosel Evron and Blanche Ramey Flanary. She was a graduate of Blountville High School and went on to East Tennessee Baptist Nursing School where she obtained her nursing degree. She worked as a R.N. in emergency rooms’, doctors offices, special nursing but her most recent job was correctional nursing for the MDOC. She loved attending her grandson’s events and was happy she was able to move to the area to be closer to her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband of almost 58 years, Bobby Marlar; son, Josh Marlar and wife Candace; grandsons, Jackson and Hilton Marlar; a sister Linda Gibson and a host of other family and friends.
