Judy "Da" Dean Morrow Judy “Da” Dean Morrow, a cherished member of the Guntersville, Alabama community, peacefully passed away on May 11, 2024, at the age of 79. Born on October 6, 1944, to the late R.L. and Lucille Hill, Judy leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and family.
She is survived by her daughter, Terri Morrow Gillilan, her chosen children Jakob Hill and Chelsea Hill, and a host of beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Jordan (Stuart) Hartley, Hunter (Kayla) Gillilan, McCall (Chip) Willoughby, Riley Morrow, Emily-Wade Hartley, Mary Hutton Hartley, Shannon Merritt Willoughby, and Lily Shiloh Gillilan. Judy’s dedication to family extended beyond her immediate kin, as she also leaves behind her brother, Edwin (Emma) Hill, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In the embrace of her loved ones, Judy now joins her husband, Wade Morrow, her daughter, Emily Deanna Morrow, her son, Shannon Keith Morrow, her sisters, Carolyn Hill and Marlene Hard, and her brothers, Delane Hill and Garland Hill, who preceded her in death.
A testament to Judy’s faith and community ties, a funeral service in her honor will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at Brashers Chapel Church in Albertville, Alabama. Bro. Mike Williamson will officiate the service, as Judy finds her final resting place in the adjoining cemetery.
