Judy Ann Whittaker Schiedel – Obituary

Judy Ann Whittaker Schiedel, age 77, a resident of Lawrenceburg, passed away Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 11AM at Thousand Hills Cowboy Church in Ethridge. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Judy was born on May 14, 1940 in Buffalo, New York and was the daughter of the late Norman Schiedel and the late Helen Wrigley Schiedel. She previously worked as a teacher’s aid at the Eden, New York School System and most recently was a member of Thousand Hills Cowboy Church. Judy enjoyed playing Scrabble and dearly loved her family, especially her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her children: John Joseph (Heather) Whittaker of Vero Beach, FL, Tracy Lynn Whittaker (Jay Piovarcy) of Lawrenceburg, TN; brothers: Norman (Lynn) Schiedel of Buffalo, NY, Jon Schiedel of Weaver, AL; sisters: Sally (Paul) McCoy of Adamsville, TN, Betty Broadbent of Gainesville, FL, Grace (Paul) Glashauser of Fredonia, NY, Sue Schiedel of Leoma, TN; grandchildren: Mallorie, Max, Andrew, Alex, Elise; and great grandchildren: Talon, Charlee Kate, and Miller.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters: Edna Mae Long and Helen Mary Schiedel.
