Graveside services with Military Honors for Ms. Judith Lee Whisenant, age 62, will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 11 AM until 1:45 PM in the Shelton-Hunt Funeral Home Chapel.
Ms. Whisenant, a US Air Force Veteran, member of the Humboldt VFW, member of the Gibson County Sports Hall of Fame and member of the Church at Sugar Creek, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2023 in the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harmon Dungan, Sr. and Barbara Fraley; and a brother, David Dungan, Jr.
Ms. Whisenant is survived by a son, Thomas Whisenant (Sydney) of Hendersonville; and two grandchildren, Coen Whisenant and Shepherd Whisenant.
