Judith (Judy) McCarley Gann, age 76, of Hamilton, Alabama, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2024, at NMMC-Hamilton, Alabama.
She was born in Hamilton, Alabama, on Monday, May 16, 1947, to Theron McCarley and Cecile Palmer McCarley.
She was a member of Hamilton Church of Christ. She taught Elementary School for over thirty years, beginning her career in Guin and the remaining years teaching first and second grade in Hamilton. She loved teaching and made many lifelong friends.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Tommy Gann; Rochelle Harrison (husband Bobby); Heather Herdzik (husband, John Paul); grandchildren, Haley Kitchens (husband, Janson), Tyler Harrison, Maddie Harrison, Max Herdzik; great-grandchild,
Bryce Kitchens, one on the way, Levi Kitchens; brother, Kenny McCarley (wife Jackie)
a host of nieces, nephews, other relative and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Theron McCarley and Cecile Palmer McCarley.
The visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Sunday, January 14, 2024 at Marion County Funeral Home.
The service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday January 15, 2024 at Hamilton Church of Christ with Bro. Ryan Gallagher officiating and interment at Hamilton Memory Gardens.
