Judith “Judy” Farr Lane, age 84, of Huntsville, Alabama went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, April 24, 2022. Judy was born October 7, 1937 in Birmingham, AL to the late Roy and Lorene Farr. Judy was a member of Whitesburg Baptist Church, where she enjoyed being a member of the Morning Glories ” Widows Group”. Judy enjoyed Bible studies, but most of all. She loved and enjoyed her family, grandkids and great grandkids. Besides her parents, Judy is preceded in death by her sisters Nina Chaffin and Gloria Munoz , as well as a daughter in law Brenda Lane.
Judy is survived by her children Stave Land and Shelia Thomson and her husband William. Grandchildren Cyndel Fortenberry and her husband Russ, Raven Blomeyer and her husband Keith, Ian Thomson, Zachary Thomson and Andrew Thomson. Great grandchildren Coen Fortenberry, Reese Fortenberry, Case Fortenberry, Mason Blomeyer and Carter Blomeyer
Visitation for Judy will be held Thursday, April 28, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Valhalla Funeral Home, 698 Winchester Rd Ne, Huntsville, Alabama. The Celebration of Life Service will be Friday, April 29, 2022 at Whitesburg Baptist Church South Campus, 7300 Whitesburg Dr, Huntsville, AL. Judy will be laid to rest at Valhalla Memory Gardens.
