Judy Ann Whitehead Profile Photo Judith (Judy) Ann Whitehead, a beloved member of the community, passed away on October 23, 2024, in New Albany, MS, at the age of 79. She was born on April 29, 1945, in Tupelo, MS, and leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and dedication.

Judy led a fulfilling life, devoting herself to her family and community. As a loving mother to sons Jeff and Chad, she cherished every moment spent with her family. Her daughter-in-law Nicole, granddaughters Elizabeth and Anna, and great-granddaughter Lainey brought immense joy into her life. Judith’s family was at the center of her world, and her love for them was unwavering.

Judith was preceded in death by her parents John Priest and Mary Priest and her sister Valley Rebecca Priest and special brother-in-law Lance Philips Sr.

In addition to her commitment to her family, Judy was passionate about her work as a Payroll Clerk in the factory industry. She took pride in her profession and was known for her strong work ethic and attention to detail. Outside of work, Judy was an active member of her community. She was a dedicated member of the Elvis Presley fan club, boasting a vast collection of memorabilia that showcased her admiration for the King of Rock and Roll.

Judy’s love for working with the youth was evident in her involvement with various activities. She enjoyed cooking for her church and supporting the GA’s, leaving a lasting impact on the younger generation. Her kindness and generosity touched the lives of many, leaving behind cherished memories that will be treasured forever.

Judith Ann Whitehead will be dearly missed by her surviving relatives, including her sons Chad Whitehead, Jeff Whitehead, daughter-in-law Nicole Whitehead, granddaughters; Elizabeth Grace Whitehead, Anna Claire Whitehead, great-granddaughter Lainey Hubbard, brother John A Priest III, and sister Betty Phillips Gault (Bill), nieces Holly Phillips Wilhite (Ronnie), Ashley Phillips Harrelson (Jason) and nephew Lance Phillips Jr (Shai)

Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Visitation will take place on Monday October 28, 2024, at Keownville Baptist Church from 10:00 AM- 12:00 PM. A celebratory funeral service will be held in honor of Judith’s life on October 28, 2024, at 12:00 PM at Keownvile Baptist Church. Burial to follow in the Church cemetery. Family and friends are invited to join together to reminisce, share stories, and celebrate the beautiful life of Judith Ann Whitehead. Bro. David Grumbach will be officiating the services.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Wilhite, Jason Harrelson, Lance Phillips, Cooper Wilhite, Jaxx Harrelson and Jacob Cook. May we find comfort in the memories we shared with Judith and may her spirit continue to shine brightly in our hearts. Rest in peace, dear Judith Ann Whitehead.
