Judith Ann Jackson, a woman known for her unwavering kindness and strength, passed away on December 27, 2024, at the age of 85 in Russellville, AL. Judy was born on January 3, 1939, in Russellville, AL by her mother Mildred E Shedd Malone and Father John L Malone.
Judy attended high school in Tuskegee, OK . She then moved to Russellville where she attended Larimore Business School in Florence AL for 1 year. She was married to James A Jackson (Jimmy) for 65 years. Both were members of First Baptist Church in Russellville.
Judy loved to travel and had a wonderful eye for fashion. Her favorite places to travel included New York, New Orleans, Destin and Europe. She loved her friends, family members and customers from The Cottage in which she owned. She was also co-owner of Royal (Jackson) Furniture. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will deeply be missed by all that knew and loved her.
Judy is survived by her husband, James Jackson; children, Julie Jackson (Susan) of Huntsville, AL and Jay Jackson (Denise) of Hackleburg, AL; three grandchildren, Lauren Jackson Bishop (Drew) of Memphis, TN, Aaron Jackson (Alexandria) of Arab, AL, Caroline Ann Jackson (Jacob) of Florence, AL and two great grandchildren Calvin James Bishop, Liam Paul Jackson.
