Entombment service for Judith Ann (Angerer) Irish, age 79, of Decatur, who died Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at her residence, will be Tuesday, February 22, 2022, 10:15 a.m. at Annunciation of the Lord Catholic Church Columbarium. Shelton Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
Mrs. Irish was born November 25, 1942, in Wisconsin, to Francis Angerer and Marian Frisque Angerer. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Robert Angerer. Mrs. Irish worked as a nurse for more than 25 years. She was a member of Annunciation of the Lord Catholic Church. Arts and crafts were her passion. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, John “Jack” Irish of Decatur; one son, Jon Irish (Virginia) of Decatur; two daughters, Jill Irish Brown (Jeff) and Jodi Irish Goolsby, both of Decatur; one brother, Tony Angerer (Penny) of Sturgeon Bay, WI; six grandchildren, Christina McMillion (Mason) of Huntsville, Taylor Brown of Decatur, Ali Brown of Birmingham, Abigail Goolsby of Decatur, Wiley Irish of Decatur, and Wesley Irish of Decatur; and one uncle, Joe Angerer of Sturgeon Bay, WI.
