Juanita Warner Profile PhotoJuanita Warner, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away on August 2nd, 2023, surrounded by family.  Born on July 8th, 1959, in Lansing, Michigan, Juanita was the daughter of the late Alvaro Moreno and Magdalena Moreno.

Juanita’s heart was filled with love for her family. She is survived by the love of her life, Lawrence Warner Jr., with whom she celebrated 34 years of marriage.  Her children, Nichole (Jeremy) Hartman, Lawrence (Jenna) Warner III, and her grandchildren, Owen Hartman and Audrey Hartman, who held a special place in her heart.  She is also survived by her siblings, John Moreno, James (Michelle) Moreno, Joanne (Andy) Gonzales, and many nieces and nephews.

Juanita had a lively spirit and a love for dancing and gardening. Her warm smile and kind heart touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a member of the National Guard for 9 years and worked in the Santa Fe School System for many years before working at the Columbia Police Department.

Family and close friends will have a Celebration of Life gathering to honor the life of Juanita on Friday, August 4, 2023.

In lieu of flowers, consider memorial contributions in honor of Juanita to Cumberland Heights Treatment Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

The care of Mrs. Juanita Warner and her family has been entrusted to the staff of Williams Funeral Home.
