Obituary of Juanita Miller Juanita “Nita” Christine Miller, age 88 of Pulaski, passed away Wednesday February 26, 2025 at Meadowbrook Health and Rehab.

Nita was born in Sheffield, AL on March 1, 1936 to Marvin and Annie Boatwright Byrd. Nita worked as a CNA taking care of patients in both public and private settings. Her interests included but were not limited to attending church at Faith Church, reading, cooking (she made the best homemade cinnamon rolls and biscuits), playing Canasta (even though she cheated), gardening especially her blueberry plants and flowers, and spending time with her husband of 53 years her children and her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years Clyde “Boots” Wesley Miller, Jr; sister Marlene Bradford; and her parents.

Per Nita’s request, no funeral services will be held. A private family memorial will be held at a later date.

Nita is survived by her children Gail Deal (Michael), Wes Miller (Kelley), Marvin Miller; grandchildren Roger Williams (Ashley), Gayla Roden (Greg), Miranda Schmitter (Daniel), Marcie Oettinger (Jared), Kyle Miller (Tiffany), Chase Warren, Hope Warren, Alexis Deal; great grandchildren Brandon Williams, Justin Williams, William Roden, Madalyn Roden, Caitlyn Roden, Mia Roden, Garrett Roden, Storm Gibson, Briar Gibson; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
