Funeral services for Juanita Mae Dickey McCormick, 78, of Savannah, TN are set for Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 2pm at Crossroads Union Church with interment in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, November 1, 2024 from 5pm-8pm and Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 1pm-2pm. Bro. Tim Keen will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Zion Franks, Zeke Franks, Chevy Mason, Michael Matlock, C. J. Melson, Daniel Murphy, Mike Melson and Keith Cherry. Born December 1, 1945 in Savannah, TN., Mrs. McCormick passed from this life on Monday, October 28, 2024 in Jackson, TN. She was a home maker and a member of Crossroads Union Church. Her favorite past times were reading and watching her game shows. Juanita is survived by her daughters, Betty McCormick Franks (David M.) and Nora J. Melson (Richard); 11 grandchildren, Daniel Murphy (Valessa), Jessica Murphy, Amber Melson (Michael), Chevy Melson (Grace), Trystan Counce, Ariel Melson, Zion Franks, Zeke Franks, Cora Franks and Jenna Moon; 12 great grandchildren, Curtis Matlock, Tessa Matlock, Colt Matlock, C. J. Melson, Lacie Melson, Waylon Melson, Slate Griffin, A. J. Murphy, Emmaline Holley, Wesley Murphy, Joshua Murphy and Stella Murphy; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Arthur V. McCormick; daughter, Brigette Murphy Cossey; father, Wareka Ray Dickey; mother, Ocie Louella Umphery Dickey; brother, Charley Dickey; sisters, Ada Sowell (Clyde), Virginia Melson, Magdalene Dickey and Paulette Dickey.
