Funeral Services for Mrs. Juanita Headrick Knepper, age 87, of Lineville will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at 12:00 P.M. at Benefield Funeral Home of Lineville with Bro. Zach Hurst officiating. Burial will follow at Ashland City Cemetery.
Mrs. Knepper passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2023 at her home. She was born in Clay County, was a graduate of Columbiana High School, and took several business courses in her college career. She primarily worked as a secretary for the Marble Quarry in Sylacauga and Lineville Heating and Air. Her most important life accomplishment was helping raise her Children, Grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mrs. Knepper enjoyed gardening, tending to her flower beds, and quilting. You would often find her sitting on her back porch, watching and taking care of the many birds and hummingbirds that would fly around her home and garden. She enjoyed being with her family, attending Concord Baptist Church and reading her Bible. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Mrs. Knepper is survived by her daughter, Sharon Kay Sims; two sons: Randall Knepper (Vicki) and Steven Knepper (Melissa), all of Lineville; six grandchildren: Shannon Taylor (Rusty), Kerri Sims, Melissa Lowe, Derra Simmons (Cortney), Devan Spivey (Wes), and Daniele Knepper; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; her sister, Bettie Owen (Gary) of Ashland; her brother in law, Don Johnson of Indian Springs, and several nieces and nephews and a large extended family.
Mrs. Knepper is preceded in death by, her parents: Gulma Monroe Headrick and Dessa Watts; her husband, Fred L. Knepper; one sister Mildred Johnson; and two brothers James and D.C. Headrick.
Active pallbearers will be Sam Hurst, Philip Owen, Rusty Taylor, Dawson Taylor, Conner Sims, Logan Gambrell, Wes Spivey.
Her visitation will take place on Wednesday August 23, 2023 from 10:00 A.M. until service time at 12:00 P.M. at Benefield Funeral Home of Lineville.
