She was born on June 25, 1929, in Palmersville, Tennessee, in Weakley County, to the late Lois and Sampson Harris. Juanita’s educational journey led her through schools in Henry County, earning her diploma from Cottage Grove High School in 1947. Following her passion for beauty, she graduated from Paducah Beauty School and embarked on a new chapter in Maury County.

On April 3, 1948, Juanita exchanged vows with the love of her life, Morris F. Boshers, marking the beginning of a beautiful journey together. Initially residing in Mt. Pleasant for nine years, they were active members of the Locust Street Church of Christ. In 1961, their path led them to Columbia, where they found a spiritual home at Jackson Heights Church of Christ. Here, Juanita immersed herself in teaching children’s bible classes, while Morris served as Deacon, embodying their shared dedication to faith.

Beyond her commitment to her church community, Juanita found joy in simple pleasures. She relished her time at the Senior Citizen’s Center, engaging in spirited card games, and her nimble fingers found purpose in sewing projects of all kinds.

A celebration of Juanita’s life will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at 2:00 PM, with 2 hours of visitation prior to service time, followed by her interment at Polk Memorial Mausoleum.
