A service to celebrate the life of Juanita Grimes, 93, will be held Tuesday at 2:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Burnsville.
Visitation will be from 12 noon until service time.
Mrs. Grimes was born on September 11, 1930 in Webster County, MS to the late Reedis Sr. and Annie Mae Mullins. She was a factory worker and worked in motel housekeeping. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church and enjoyed gardening and quilting.
She is survived by her son, Jimmy Ray Grimes; grandchildren, Kevin Grimes, Joni Arnold, Brad Grimes, Kasey Roberson, Colton Grimes and Austin Grimes; 10 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Howard, Johnny, Tommy, and Darren; daughter, Mary Roberson; sisters, Delia Ann Lambert and Frances Plaxico; and brothers, Reedis Mullins, Jr. and Jimmy Lee Mullins.
