Juanita Fitzgerald PaulJuanita Fitzgerald Paul, 86, homemaker and resident of Westover Drive, died Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A graveside service will be conducted Thursday at 12:00 P.M. at Polk Memorial Gardens with Reverend Ron Paul officiating. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 4:00 P.M – 8:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com.

Born May 17, 1933 in Maury County, she was the daughter of the late Walker Fitzgerald and the late Katie Mai Roberts Fitzgerald. On July 12, 1953, she married Ronald Carlton Paul who preceded her in death February 15, 1999. She was a 1953 graduate of Columbia Central High School. Mrs. Paul had loved quilting, working in her garden, and growing flowers. She was a member of Harvest Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Rhonda Paul (Robin) Brooks of Columbia; son, Steve Paul of Columbia; grandchildren, Mitch (Bri) Brooks of Culleoka; Sarah English of North Carolina; three great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Linda Fitzgerald Williams, Debby Fitzgerald, Lorene Paul; and brothers-in-law, Donald (Carolyn) Paul, Gerald Paul.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Elizabeth Fitzgerald; and brothers, Edward Fitzgerald and Dennis Fitzgerald.

Active pallbearers will be her nephews.
