Juanita Dobbs Vess, age 76, of Leighton, died Friday, March 10, 2017. Visitation will be Monday, March 13th from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral will be Tuesday, March 14th at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Don McGuire officiating. Burial will follow at Guy Cemetery.
Mrs. Vess was a native of Colbert County where she graduated from Deshler High School and was a member of the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Annie Dobbs and several siblings.
She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Gene Vess; sister, Beulah Hall, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
