Juanita Ann Smith 81 of Guntersville, passed away early Saturday morning, September 15, 2019 at Marshall Medical Center North. Mrs. Smith was a member of the Creek Path Baptist Church, and she was a devoted wife and mother. Juanita loved cooking and reading and Alabama football, but she especially loved her family with all her heart. She was dearly loved by her family and friends.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband: James L. Smith, Son: Mike Smith (Melissa), Daughters: Teresa Fuell, Barbara Smith and Lisa Carole Smith. Sisters: Jan Parker and Kristi Rice, Grandchildren: Ben Smith (Kristina), Kayla Owens (Daniel), Lacey Fuell, Amy Lemon (Matt), Brandi Markey (Jonathan), Zac Fuell, Seth Fuell.14 Great grandchildren. Mrs. Smith is preceded in death by her parents: Rosco B. Hopson and Helen (Rogers) Hopson, Son: David Smith, Sisters: Betty Sue Green and Linda Gail Cannady, Grandsons: Joshua Barnette and Rusty Cryar. Visitation will be held Monday September 16, 2019 at Carr Funeral Home from 12;00 pm until 2:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be held Monday September 16, 2019 at Carr Funeral Home at 2:00 pm, with Brother Rick Douglas officiating. Burial will follow at Crestview Cemetery.
