Juan Benjamin
Juan grew up in Fort Madison Iowa, and graduated from Aquinas High School. He also graduated from Parks College of Engineering, Aviation, and Technology at St. Louis University. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Carol Benjamin. His Daughters, Alison Benjamin(Alan Brewer) and Kirsten Perry (Daniel); and Sons, Father Matthew Benjamin, Lucas Benjamin, and Marcus Benjamin. and 2 grandchildren Steven Perry and Evan Christopher. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Lucille Benjamin, his brother Patrick, and his son Juan Jr.
Loving Husband, Father and Brother, died peacefully in his home after a long battle with cancer surrounded by his wife and children. Juan was an active member of the St. Johns Parish for the last 17 years. He was an active member of the Knights of Columbus 4th degree. He served 23 years in the United States Air Force where he rose to the rank of Colonel before going into the private sector to work for Martin Marrietta and Boeing as a Project Manager and Engineer He has gone on to his reward and will be greatly missed. Visitation with Rosary service will be from 6pm to 8pm on Friday Evening September 15, At St John the Baptist Catholic Church Funeral Mass will be held at St John the Baptist Catholic Church on Saturday September 16 at 11:00 AM.
