Joyce Vickers Bowerman, 88, of Athens, passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2023.
Joyce was born on May 4, 1935 in Gilbertsville, KY.
She is survived by her son, Barry Bowerman (Debbie) of East Limestone, AL; grandson, Alexander (Alex) Bowerman of Meridianville, AL; son-in-law, Marty Armstrong of Mayfield, KY; sister, Virginia (Gin) Vickers Prince of Benton, KY; brother, Martin Vickers (Delores) of Chickamauga, GA; along with dozens of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She is preceded by her husband, Edgar (Red) Bowerman; son, Ralph Bowerman; daughter, Becca Bowerman Armstrong; sister, Frances Vickers Reed Meeks; father, Herman (Carter) Vickers; and mother, Mary (Lorene) Hurst Vickers.
A Receiving of Friends will be held on Wednesday, November 8th, from 3:00-5:00p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home.
