Joyce Radel Bollmer, age 70, of Tuscumbia, died Saturday, May 25, 2013. The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, May 31, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 3:00 p.m., at Our Lady of the Shoals Catholic Church with Father Don Forsythe officiating. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery.
A native of Ohio, Joyce was preceded in death by her beloved husband of fifty years, Dan Bollmer. She was a member of Our Lady of the Shoals Catholic Church.
Survivors include son, Jeffery Bollmer (Lori) of Dacula, GA; daughters, Lisa Heyden (Oscar Jordan) of Danville, AL, Julie Shelly (David) of Madison, AL, Valerie Mandeville (Don) of Harvest, AL, Regina Lias (Steve) of Cuyahoga Falls, OH; sister, Carol Bollmer and husband Ben; brother, Steve Radel and wife Jennifer; eleven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be David Shelly, Don Mandeville, Steven Lias, and Oscar Jordan.
