Joyce Pratt passed away on August 1, 2023 at age 85. The Funeral Service, conducted by Brother Daniel Stirnemann, is 11 a.m. Saturday, August 5, 2023 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN. Interment in Elmore Cemetery, Rover TN, will follow the service at 1:30 p.m. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home on Friday from 4-8 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 until the service at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
Joyce Marie Shelton Pratt was born in Nashville TN to Era Mae Delk and Clyde Shelton. She was a member of The Sanctuary church and a homemaker. She was really good at math, and loved working crosswords and jigsaw puzzles. She loved reading her Bible, going to church, reading and writing. She is survived by children: Nancy Binkley (Dale) Ternes, Grover Binkley Jr., Lillie Pratt, and Maxine Pratt (Clint) Qualls; 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and siblings: Virginia (Randall) Connor and Charles (Eva) Myatt. The family extends a special thank you to friend and caretaker, Glenda Williams. She is preceded in death by son Hiram Pratt, daughter Virginia Binkley Bybee, husband Grover Binkley Sr., husband Delmas Pratt, and parents Era and Clyde Shelton.
