Joyce Morgan Staudt – Obituary

Joyce Morgan Staudt, 64, a native of Tuscumbia, Ala., residing in Spanish Fort, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, August 5, 2012. She was retired from Alabama Cooperative Extension Service in Baldwin and Marshall Counties working as a home economist and in the 4-H County Cooperative Division for many years. She is preceded in death by her husband, John J. Staudt; and her parents, James D. Morgan and Helen Bradford Morgan.

Surviving are her brother, Jim (Paula) Morgan, Killen, Ala.; niece, Melissa (Alan) Bullington, Nashville, Tenn.; nephew, David (Brandi) Morgan, Killen, Ala.; and many other relatives and friends.

The family wants to thank all of Joyce’s friends who sent her cards, prayers and well wishes and to all her caregivers at Westminster Village, Odyssey Hospice and a very special thank you to her close friend, Vickie Mitchell.

A celebration of Joyce’s life will be at 2:00 p.m., on August 18, 2012, at Central Park Baptist Church, 2020 Westmeade Street in Decatur, Ala. Officiating will be Pastor Jackie Kay.
