Joyce McClure Shrewsbury, age 82, of Toney, died on Tuesday August 12, 2014.
Mrs. Shrewsbury was retired from the Madison County Board of Education where she worked as a school bus driver for many years. She was a lifelong member of the Madison Cross Roads Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Shrewsbury is preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Shrewsbury; her parents, Reuben and Edna Miller McClure; and her brother, James McClure.
Mrs. Shrewsbury is survived by her daughters, Paula Weaver and Becki Woods; her sisters, Grace Smith and Marilyn Schild; her brother, Leonard McClure; her grandchildren, Meghan Stevenson, Meredith Puckett, DeAnna Woods, Maddie Weaver, and John Woods; and her great grandchildren, Emory Stevenson and River Puckett.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday August 14, 2014 at 2pm at Madison Cross Roads Cemetery with Rev. Kerry Campbell officiating. Burial will follow. The family will receive friends on Wednesday August 13, 2014 from 5:30pm until 8pm at Spry Funeral Home in Huntsville.
