Joyce Marie Blackston, age 69 of Carbon Hill, passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2022 at Walker Baptist Medical Center.
The family will receive friends on Monday, May 23, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, memorial services will follow at 7:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Hollis Alexander will officiate.
Mrs. Blackston was preceded in death by her Mother-Lillie Lorene Woods; Father-John Elzo Hill; Sister-Bobbie Hill.
She is survived by her Husband-Stephen Blackston; Daughters-Angela Long (RJ) and Zaneta Odom (Tim); Sons-Scott Odom and Pierre Blackston; Grandchildren-Brandon Ivey (Emily), Jacob Odom, Matthew Odom (Destinee), Christien Reed, Claire Reed and Austin Reed; Great Grandchildren-Damien Ivey, Annabelle Odom, Araina Odom and Freya Wingard.
