Graveside Funeral service and interment for Joyce Landers Helphand, 77, will be Thursday, August 6, 2015 at 2:00 PM at New Friendship Cemetery with Bro. Ron Manley officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Thursday, August 6, 2015 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the funeral home.
Ms. Helphand died on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at Decatur Health & Rehab Center. She was born August 26, 1937, in Limestone County to Ervin Hagood and Mildred Drake Hagood. She was retired from General Motors/ Delphi Automotive Plant as a production operator until her retirement. She was the owner/ operator of Hickory Hill Bed and Breakfast. She was also a member of Austinville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents.
