Joyce Faye Barnes was born April 2, 1947 in McNairy County, TN, the daughter of the late Joseph Elvin Teague and Sadie Mildred Baker Teague.
She was a member of the Full Gospel Fellowship Church in Bethel Springs, Tennessee. She had worked for Brown Shoe Company, Jetricks and as a CNA at the McNairy County Regional Hospital before retiring. She loved her animals and spending time with grandkids.
Joyce departed this life on November 26, 2022 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 75 Years, 7 Months, 24 Days.
She is survived by her children: Regina Stedman and husband Barry of Ramer, TN, Jana Hawkins and husband Keith of Selmer, TN, Greg Barnes of Selmer, TN; a sister, Dottie Robinson of Camden, TN; a brother, William Teague of Selmer, TN; grandchildren: Matt Stedman, Amy Goodrum, Justin Hawkins, Mary Beth Henson, Molly Hawkins, Beau Barnes and Kase Barnes; six great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by siblings: Joe Teague, Sammy Teague, Roger Teague, Essie Kirk, Judy Glover, Jerry Ray Teague; father of her children, James Coyette Barnes.
