Joyce Fay Avent, 84, of Hazel Green, passed away Friday. She is survived by her husband, James Avent; two daughters, Debra PorgesJames and Diane Hafner-Jay; two grandchildren, Aimee Wright and Anna Hafner; three great-grandchildren: Taylor, Lauren and Ashlyn Wright; two special nieces, Shirlee Gray and Marcia Keith; and special caregiver, Shirley Paxton.
Graveside service will be Monday at 10:00 a.m. at Maple Hill Cemetery. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
