Funeral for Joyce Elaine Montgomery Brewington, 81, of Moulton will be Wednesday January 22, 2025 with a visitation at 12:30 until 2:00 pm followed by a service at 2:00 at Elliott’s Brown-Service chapel with Brett Vance
Darryl McHan officiating, and Honorary Jimmy Fuller. Burial will be at Moulton Memory Gardens.
Joyce was Born March 29th 1943, in Moulton AL to Lawrence “Bud” Montgomery and Vivian Reeves Montgomery both deceased also Preceded by her Step-Mother, Evelyn Montgomery.
Joyce retired from Community Action where she was a dispatcher for 25 years and from Elliotts Brown Service Funeral Home.
She loved People and loved to cook and do for others. She loved the Lord, her Church and her family. She was so proud of her Grandchildren.
Also preceded by Husband, Reno Brewington. Brothers, Buddy Montgomery & Jimmy Montgomery. Sister, Shelby Brennan. Brother in law- Richard Brennan, Pete Griffith, Sister in law- Phyllis Montgomery.
She is survived by Children Donald Vance( Kristi), Tammy Vance, Shawn Turner ( Christina) , Kim Howard (Craig)
Grandchildren: Brett Vance (Whitney), Grace Dull (Matt), Kaylee Turner, Hannah Turner, Blaine Carroll, Brittney Howard
Great Granddaughter: Collins Joy Vance
Sisters Eloise “Weenie” Worden & Catherine Burgess and A Host of Nieces and nephews.
