Joy Yvonne Pullum, 76, of Athens, passed away on Sunday, March 26th, 2023, at her residence. Mrs. Pullum was born on February 8th, 1947, to Morris and Cathleen McCorkle.
Mrs. Pullum is survived by her daughter Sequita Gibbs (Richard) and Candace Martinez (Brian); and son Estel Pullum (Chirlena); brother Phillip McCorkle; sisters Marcella Scott (Lynn), Emily Snoody (Jake), and Christine Roland (Calvin); and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mrs. Pullum is preceded in death by her husband Billy Pullum.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, March 30th, 2023, at Athens Memory Gardens, at 2:00 p.m., with Cleabron Pullum officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 29th, 2023, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Limestone Chapel. Burial will be at Athens Memory Gardens.
