Joy Risse, 78, of Madison, passed away Tuesday. Joy was preceded in death by her parents, Edmund Felix and Marie Gortva Sawicki.
Survivors include her daughter, Nicole “Nikki” Lyn Chandler; stepdaughter, Holly Risse Lorens; brothers, Ed J. Sawicki and Shon Wood; and sisters, Sharon Eve Cieck and Melody S. Edwards (Carl). A loving mother and sister, Joy was loved by many and will be missed by all. She loved blue butterflies.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, October 8th at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Huntsville Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
